A Promising Beginning For America?

With gubernatorial elections “tomorrow, only a day away”, there is some hope that at the end of the rainbow of elections Americans will have come to the realization that the socialism that Obama and the Socialist/Democratic Party are attempting to bring is not the change they want.

Challenger Chris Christie (R) is edging ahead of Socialist/Democrat and incumbent Jon Corzine according to a new poll by Quinnipiac.  Although the lead is 2% it marks a seven-point swing since last weeks poll which had Corzine ahead by five points.  This comes fast on the heals of strong campaigning efforts by Chief Socialist, Barack Obama.  Obama chose to spend his time in NJ and stay away from Virgina for fear of tarnishing his image as the do-no-wrong messiah that the media has worked so hard to create and perpetuate over the past two years.

Speaking of Virginia: Bob McDonnell (R) holds a double-digit lead over Socialist/Democrat Creigh Deeds in Virginia’s race for governor.  Larry Sabato, director of the University of Virginia Center for Politics, “expects McDonnell to win big — and usher other Republicans into office along the way.”

“‘McDonnell is not only going to win — he’s going to win by a landslide. He’s going to pull his entire ticket to victory,’ he said, predicting GOP gains in the House of Delegates as well. ‘It’s a big Republican year in Virginia.'”

Republican or not, the promise that this year marks the beginning of the end for Obama’s attack on America is good news.

In the NY Congressional race, Doug Hoffman leads Socialist/Democrat Bill Owens 41-36.  In an act of sour grapes, former GOP candidate Dede Scozzafava threw a hissy fit, dropped out of the race over the weekend and is now supporting Owens.  Scozzafava was criticized by the GOP for being too left-leaning.  Since her withdrawal Hoffman has picked up six points although undecideds have doubled to 18 points.

The most important thing here is that Americans who are rejecting the tyrannical efforts of the Socialist/Democratic Party to oppress them economically, socially and even politically as is the case in North Carolina, will have the courage of their convictions and send a message to politicians of all affiliations: We want our freedom!
